Greta Ward is a Tucson artist noted for her colorful paintings and creative sculptures. She is also an articulate writer about the arts, and it’s worth checking out her blog to see what she has to say. Greta is working toward community-building among local artists. She co-founded the Tucson Artists’ Breakfast Club which meets for brunch once a week to talk about art and the artist’s life. Joe Dal Pra is a mixed media sculptor and installation artist in Tucson, Arizona. He also teaches art classes at Pima Community College. Diane Aldrich Kleiss is an encaustic and mixed media artist who came to Tucson in 1994 from the snowy north (Iowa and Minnesota). She worked as an art teacher for 10 years while pursuing her interests in oil and acrylic painting, and in clay sculpture. In 2004, Diane Kleiss discovered encaustic, the art of hot wax painting, and a new world opened up to her. Since this video was made, Diane has since relocated to Silver City, NM

Ruben Urrea Moreno is a native Tucsonan who paints in a style we don’t get to see very often in the Old Pueblo - surrealism. He draws upon his heritage as a Mexican American/Chicano and the spiritual depths of Aztec Nahuatl culture to inform his very personal and yet universal art.
