Important Notice about Email:  I respond to all emails sent to editor@SonoranArtsNetwork.net  If you do not receive a response within 2 days, that means a) I didn’t receive you email at all, or MORE LIKELY 2) I responded to you but you did not receive my response email (there’s a variety of reasons why this might occur).  If that happens and you get no response from me, email me again at cjshane.mail@gmail.com. Gmail seems to work most of the time.  An exception to this is any email going to an AOL email account. AOL has very high walls and rejects all my emails to an AOL account no matter from which email address I send it. Note that this means if you are an AOL email account holder, you are probably missing a lot of emails that AOL rejects, and you never hear about them.  Consider opening a gmail, yahoo, hotmail or other account.

The current edition of Sonoran Arts Network has some special postings this month.
  • We have our first video since 2013 with a feature video on Tucson sculptor Joe Dal Pra.
  • We celebrate the Tucson Festival of Books this month of March with a feature about the Society of Southwestern Authors and an interview with Tucson writer Susan Cummins Miller.
  • We are expanding into our Sonoran Desert bioregion with a feature on a festive Community Arts Gathering in Ajo, Arizona, and an interview with Casa Grande collage artist Edna Harris.  To your right is the Ajo Gathering's logo designed by Tohono O'odham artist Tony Johnson.
  • We continue our reporting of important Tucson arts news with a feature on the new Metal Arts Village sculpture garden, and an interview with Tucson glass artist Bronwen Heilman.
  • We have a special My Turn share by Judy Robbins in which she responds poetically to a Diane Arbus photograph.

Looking for correspondents:  We’re looking for folks outside of Tucson in the southern Arizona region to send us contributions from your area. This includes Yuma, Bisbee, Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Tubac, Nogales, and Ajo (and places in-between.  Read the Contributor Submissions tab on the menu at the top of the page.

We want to hear from you!! We would love to get feedback from you about this March/April issue.
